Payment is required by credit card, or by cash or cheque before delivery is made.
Credit will be extended to regular customers. Credit terms are 30 days from date of the Invoice. Interest on overdue accounts will be charged at 18% per annum, calculated on a daily basis.
All charges are subject to VAT at the then current rate.
All hired items, including packing boxes, remain the property of CB Hire
The normal hire period is 48 hours and a weekend hire would run from Friday to Monday.The Hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of all hired items from the time of delivery, until they are received back at the CB Hire. Losses or breakages to hired items will be charged for separately at replacement cost. The hirer will be notified of losses / breakages / damages, once all hired items have been checked at the CB Hire office. No substitute items will be accepted. Conditions for Sale are as for Hire.
CB Hire shall make it's best efforts to supply the hired items requested, but it reserves the right to provide similar items. Times of delivery / collection are approximate only. CB Hire will not be held liable for the late delivery of equipment.
Deliveries to third parties or un-occupied premises are made entirely at the hirer's risk.
The hirer shall fully indemnify CB Hire in respect of all claims by any person whatsoever (including the hirer, his servants, agents or employees) for the death or personal injury or damage to property caused by or in conjunction with or arising out of the use of hired items and in respect of all costs and charges arising under statute or common law or otherwise.
The hirer is responsible for checking the hired items on delivery and shall immediately notify CB Hire by telephone of any discrepancies between hired items supplied and those ordered, or of any hired item received broken or damaged. Complaints made after the return of the hired items will not be considered.
It is a condition of supply that in the absence of definitive proof to the contrary, our count of the hired items at our premises is final to both quantity and condition of items.
Hired items not returned at or before the end of the hire period, will be subject to an additional charge equivalent to the first day hire charge for every day, or part thereof, that the return is delayed.
It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the hired items are fully covered by his own insurance with regard to loss, theft, damage and public liability risks etc.
This list cancels all previous lists. Prices may change without prior notification.
Cancellation Charges. Any hire booking that is cancelled within 10 days of the delivery date will be subject to a charge of 35% of the hire charge.
